Biscarrosse and the surrounding area
Located in the northern Landes south of Gironde, there are lots of things to see and do near Les Italiens hotel-restaurant.

Biscarrosse
Biscarrosse Ville, Biscarrosse Plage (with 5 km of sandy beaches) and Biscarrosse Lac (3 lakes connected by a canal) provide you with a vast array of activities, just for the day or your entire holiday: Water sports: swimming, surfing, kiteboarding, boating, sand yacht sailing, etc.
Golf: driving range, clubhouse and a 27-hole course, beginner and advanced training;
Musée de l’Hydraviation (Seaplane Museum): located at the former Latécoère base, learn about the history of seaplanes from Biscarrosse to New-York;
Bisc’aventure: treetop adventure course (minimum age: 4 years old), outdoor laser game and lots of other fun outdoor activities;
Countryside and forest walking and hiking: on foot, by horse, by bike, etc.
Arcachon Bay
Discover the famous jetties and stilt huts, taste oysters from an oyster farm, and visit the Bay’s emblematic sites: Dune of Pilat: the highest dune in Europe, 110 metres high and 3 km long;
Arguin sandbar: sandbar at the foot of the Dune, a French National Nature Reserve that can only be reached by boat;
Tip of Cap Ferret: a Bay site that shouldn’t be missed, with breathtaking views, especially at the top of the lighthouse.
Bordeaux
Both the Gironde Prefecture and capital of Nouvelle Aquitaine, Bordeaux is a city steeped in history but also has a contemporary side. Depending on what you enjoy, alternate between culture, shopping and relaxing, for example: Several museums: fine arts, modern art, decorative arts and design, ethnography, maritime history, etc.
Vineyards: learn about the heritage and enjoy wine tasting along one of Bordeaux’s 6 wine routes;
Walking and excursions: parks and gardens, river cruises, jogging, cycling, etc.;
Shopping: From major chain shops to small boutiques, you’ll find everything you’re looking for - fashion, decor, jewellery, etc.
